The beginning of Cougar Town is supposed to be really meh, so if I thought the pilot was pretty hilarious, that’s a good sign, right?

Cougar Town is such a fun little half hour of TV. Happy Endings. Homeland (12 episodes).
I watched Homeland and I do watch Happy Endings already :)
And hah, 3 for Cougar Town and 3 for New Girl. I think I’m going to go with Cougar Town first and then maybe New Girl after, since that’s only...

I need a new TV show to watch.
Cougartown? Life’s Too Short (my mom is trying so hard to get me to watch this, I’m not sure why)? New Girl (ugh but so many good people are guest starring)? Undeclared? Something else? I kind of watch something light and happy before I get into The Sopranos or Mad Men. One of those two is going to be my next ~big project.

I’m watching Luther at the moment and it almost sounds like we’re watching the same show.
Hahah well I don’t watch Luther, so I don’t know about the comparison between the two, but Idris Elba is in The Wire! And he is amazing and has a flawless American accent.

The Wire.
You devastating, dark, pessimistic, often hilarious, often heartbreaking, often terrifying, wonderful, messed-up masterpiece of a show.
I can’t believe I don’t have any more episodes to watch.

George R.R. Martin on writing women
George Stroumboulopoulos: There's one thing that's interesting about your books. I noticed that you write women really well and really different. Where does that come from?
George R.R. Martin: You know, I've always considered women to be people.

[[MORE]]That moment when Gus from the paper says “Scratch the murder… we don’t have room” about Omar’s murder (which was itself reduced to “34 year old black male shot dead in West Baltimore grocery… juvenile suspect is being sought). That’s devastating. Omar was such an enormous part of this show, and reducing him to just a cut blurb from a news...

My mother just told me I should apply to intern at The Daily Show.
Oh, okay. That should be easy.
The question about what I should do with my life solved.

[[MORE]]I CAN’T BELIEVE OF ALL THE PEOPLE, IT WAS THAT PUNK ASS LITTLE KID WHO KILLED OMAR. I CANNOT BELIEVE IT. I CAN. NOT. WITHOUT MARLO OR CHRIS OR SNOOP GETTING KILLED. I MEAN I CAN BELIEVE IT CAUSE IT’S THE WIRE AND IT LOVES WHEN I FEEL ANGRY AND UNSATISFIED AND JESUS. THIS SHOW. OMAAAAAR I KNEW YOU WERE GOING TO DIE BUT NOT LIKE THIS, NOT SO… POINTLESSLY. WHICH IS, AGAIN,...
